A rare Steiff 'Roly Poly' bear
with blond mohair, black shoe button eyes, pronounced clipped snout, black horizontally stitched nose, mouth and paw claws, swivel head, jointed arms, ball shaped body with weighted base containing rattle and button in ear --7in. (18cm.) tall, circa 1909 (loss of mohair to base, loss of original colour, very slight overall wear to mohair)
