A Japanese bronze censer and pierced domed cover
modelled as two oni supporting the globular tripod censer on a cloud scroll base, the censer with Buddhistic lion finial and moulded dragon amongst cloud scrolls coiled around the body -- 10in. (26.6cm.) high, rectangular wood stand decorated in gold lacquer with birds amongst foliage, 19th Century, (some minor pitting and wear).
