A 13-inch (33cm.) diameter celestial globe made up of twelve hand-coloured engraved gores and two polar calottes, laid to the ecliptic poles, the axis running through the celestial poles, the equatorial graduated in degrees and hours, the ecliptic graduated in days of the houses of the Zodiac with symbols, the constellations in yellow on a green ground depicted by mythical beasts and figures and scientific instruments with nebulae and stars to six orders of magnitude, those within constellations labelled with Greek letters (neat redrawing, some discolouration, some loss of detail) with stamped brass meridian circle and horizon ring, both divided in four quadrants, on curved semi-circular iron support to turned brass and ebonised fruitwood column and plinth base -- 24in.
