A late Victorian sword with 32in. slightly curved blade by COOLING LAWRENCE & SONS MADDOX ST, etched with VR cypher and foliate decoration etc. the "Gothic" guard and backpiece of gilt (now largely rubbed) on white metal, in brown leather scabbard.
