A khaki felt slouch-hat, the leather internal headband stamped Failsworth Hats Ltd. 1942; Khaki serge 'Cap GS' by A & J Gelfer Glasgow 1944 (lacking badge); two ORs' khaki serge side-caps, one date-stamped 1940 (unissued but fitted with RN buttons), the other with brass GS buttons, a khaki serge Tam-o-Shanter, by Compton Webb Ltd.; a maroon beret, by same maker, bearing a diamond-shaped cloth patch in front; a pale-blue beret of the Army Air Corps; three dark- blue berets, and an RAF beret (all caps lacking badges).
