A soldier's khaki whipcord trench-cap by J. Compton & Sons Ltd., 1918, complete with narrow brown leather chinstrap (lacking badge); an OR's Service Dress jacket (by Sindall Bros. & Co. Ltd and dated 1917), complete with a very extensive set of 1908-Pattern webbing equipment, as follows: waistbelt with shoulder-braces (D-buckles for pack-attachment missing); a pair of five-pocket cartridge-carriers; a bayonet-frog; water-bottle with khaki serge cover and webbing carrier; entrenching-tool with carriers for both head and helve; haversack; kidney-section mess-tin with leather strap and canvas cover; rifle sling; a small canvas pack containing implements for sewing, shaving and eating; and a Large Pack with two supporting straps.
