Staff Surgeon Anthony Dickson entered the Bengal Army in 1792 as an Assistant Surgeon. Advanced to Staff Surgeon in 1819, following service in the Napoleonic War, Dickson was placed on the Retired List in 1832. He died at Plymouth in 1855.
