This and the following two lots are from the collection of Albert Lazar. Lazar, a New York real estate broker had befriended several members of the New York Abstract Expressionists especially Franz Kline, Willem de Kooning and the gallerist Charles Egen. He met Callahan, Aaron Siskind and Hugo Weber in the mid-late 1950s and remained close to all.
