Captain Geoffrey William Grasett, O.B.E., served in France and Belgium from November 1914 until November 1918 and was Adjutant of the Corps Siege Park from February 1917. In addition to being awarded the O.B.E., he was thrice Mentioned in Despatches (London Gazettes 4.1.1917, 24.12.1917 and 30.12.1918 refer).

Lieutenant Elliott Blair Grasett, 28th Punjabis, was killed in action in France on 25.9.1915, while attached to the 1/33rd Punjabis. His name is commemorated on the Neuve Chapelle Indian Memorial.
