AN AMERICAN MOUNTED INFANTRY OFFICER'S EAGLEHEAD SABER
The curved fullered blade bearing ten gilt motifs and a gilded edge on a blued field, ornate silver-plated brass hilt with eaglehead pommel and American Eagle and Shield langet, diagonally grooved bone handle, leather sheath with two brass mounts and hanger strap (lacks tip, seam opened 3/4 length).
30 inch blade
Stained blade, hilt slightly out-of-shape, chips to grip, sheath as noted.
