AN IMPORTANT HISTORIC WILLIAM "BUFFALO BILL" CODY CASED COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER REVOLVER, SERIAL No. 77234 for 1882
A scarce Colt "etched panel" Frontier Six Shooter revolver, owned and used by Buffalo Bill. With Cody's customised stippled grip straps, marked C3/ICP on both side of the walnut grips. Presented in its original factory deluxe mahogany case lined in royal purple velour and equipped with a mahogany block for 50 cartridges contoured for the revolver.
By descent from William Cody to his sister Julia Cody Goodman.
