The heavy octagonal barrel marked J.ZETTLER/NEW YORK is mounted with hooded bead fore-sight, and finished at muzzle for a false-muzzle (lacking), colour hardened frame mounted with adjustable peep rear sight, under-lever with walnut grip, checkered varnished walnut fore-end with checkered off-hand rest, checkered varnished walnut stock of schuetzen configuration, cheekpiece and brass schuetzen butt plate.
