Lot Essay

Elizabeth Yazzie (b. 1947) learned to weave at the age of eight from her mother, Alice Yazzie. She is a full time weaver who is known specifically for creating pictorials. Her pictorial style displays an affinty to the weavings of the John family, another famous Navajo weaving family.
