A Persian Enamelled Gilt-Copper Jambiya
19th Century
With curved watered blade with two broad fullers on each side and strong central rib, the forte cut on each side in low relief with a lion attacking a cow, the hilt and scabbard polychrome enamelled with portrait medallions and floral sprays, mainly on a blue ground (gilding worn, enamelling with some restoration)
