A 19-Bore Continental Military Flintlock Jaeger Rifle
Late 18th Century
With octagonal sighted barrel cut with seven grooves and struck with an indistinct mark at the breech, regulation lock with dog catch and brass pan (top jaw and screw replaced), walnut full stock (bruised, fore-end cracked), raised cheek-piece and sliding patch-box cover both with stamped borders, regulation brass mounts including trigger-guard with finger rest, set trigger, steel sling swivels, and associated iron ramrod (pitted and worn throughout)
