The first with hinged octagonal sighted barrel stamped with maker's details on the sighting rib, the top-strap with cylinder-stop, cartridge extractor below the barrel, cylinder stamped with patent dates, spur trigger, and walnut grips (iron parts with some pitting); the second with hinged sighted barrels stamped with maker's details on the rib above the top barrel, cartridge extractor with chequered button, spur trigger, chequered hard rubber grips, and much original nickel-plated finish
