The first with scroll engraved brass frame enclosing the front of the barrel block, the top-strap stamped 'My Friend' and with patent date on the left side, and much original nickel-plated finish; the second with two-stage barrel, round frame stamped with maker's details on the removable cover (magazine renumbered, action defective), and sprung palm-operated trigger
