With blued hinged octagonal sighted barrel stamped with the maker's name and address on the sighting rib and 'M & B' (Merwin and Bray) on the left side, blued cartridge extractor below the barrel, blued cylinder stamped 'Patented July 12. 1859', silvered brass frame, the top-strap with cylinder-stop, spur trigger, varnished walnut grips, matching numbers, and some original finish
