Signed W. & I. Rigby, Dublin, circa 1840
With twist barrel and later sights, top flat at the breech with stamped signature, and a bayonet bar at the muzzle, patent breech (pitted), back-action lock with stamped signature, walnut full stock (minor bruising, fore-end tip chipped), brass mounts including patch-box cover, the butt-plate with Irish registration number, and iron ramrod (forward barrel-bolt replaced)
