With two-stage twist sighted barrel (some pitting), engraved tang, re-hardened patent breech with gold line, vacant gold-lined oval and gold-lined vent, signed border engraved lock with a dog on the tail, roller and rainproof pan, walnut half-stock with butt-extension (bruised, small crack to fore-end), chequered grip, raised cheek-piece, silver escutcheon, engraved iron mounts (some wear) including scrolled trigger-guard with pineapple finial, silver fore-end cap and barrel-bolt escutcheons, and associated brass-tipped wooden ramrod, London proof marks
