With rebrowned twist octagonal sighted barrel signed on the top flat, patent breech with two platinum lines and pierced platinum plug, long scroll engraved tang, signed scroll engraved back-action lock, chequered figured walnut butt (repaired), scroll engraved trigger-guard, flat pommel incorporating a butt-trap, the lid fitted with a skull-cleaver pierced for a lanyard, and stirrup ramrod, London proof marks
