A Cased 54-Bore D.B. Percussion Box-Lock Pistol
Signed Leech, Chelmsford, mid-19th Century
With blued signed engraved sighted barrels with later (?) gold line at each breech, blued scroll engraved action with safety-catches, blued triggers, chequered figured walnut butt, blued scroll engraved trigger-guard, silver escutcheon engraved with the initials 'RCS', and stirrup ramrod (blued finish renewed throughout): in original lined and fitted case with accessories including three-way powder-flask, the lid with silver escutcheon engraved with the same initials as the pistol, Birmingham proof marks
