With swamped etched twist octagonal barrels each cut with ten grooves and with silver fore-sight, double gold lines at the muzzle and breech, and full gold signature in gothic lettering on the top flat, engraved case-hardened gold-inlaid patent breeches with a chiselled bolster on each side, long case-hardened scroll engraved gold-inlaid tangs numbered respectively '1' and '2' in front of the adjustable back-sight, case-hardened locks en suite, each signed in gold and with engraved safety-stop in front of the hammer, figured walnut full stocks, carved and chequered butts, engraved gold-inlaid case-hardened mounts including spur trigger-guards and elaborately pierced side-plates, set triggers, horn fore-end caps, original horn-tipped ramrods, and most of their original finish
