In the Renaissance taste, the moulded overhanging triangular pediment and panelled back carved in relief with putti and portrait roundels flanked by pilasters stiles with monks heads and figures, the solid seat with hinged panel between scroll arm supports, the lower part with lozenges with portrait medallions between pilasters, on a plinth base
the cornice -- 38in. (98cm.) wide, 57in. (148cm.) high, 19in. (50cm.) deep
