A Restauration ormolu and yellow marble striking mantel clock, first quarter 19th century
The drum case held under the arm of a fugure of Chronos standing on a yellow marble base with moulded edges, with opposing swan and scroll mount to the front and on milled bun feet, the dial with Roman chapter ring and engine turned centre, steel moon hands, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell and with later vertically positioned lever escapement
