A George III mahogany and feather-banded breakfront secretaire gentleman's wardrobe
The upper part with a moulded dentil cornice and fitted with sliding trays enclosed by a pair of panelled doors, the baize lined fall enclosing a fitted interior with drawers and pigeon holes and containing two short and two long drawers below flanked by a hanging space to either side, one now fitted with a later drawer, enclosed by a long panel door, the cornice adapted, the flanking doors now opening as one, formerly the upper and lower parts would have opened separately and the hinges and locations have been adapted conformingly
