A French tulipwood, possibly kingwood veneered, ormolu and porcelain mounted occasional table or table en ambulant, 19th century
In the Louis XV style, in the manner of Martin Carlin, the velvet lined top (worn) with brass raised edge of slight kidney-shaped outline, with projecting corners, the frieze inset with Sevres plaques with fruit and flowers within framed ormolu floral borders, some rosettes missing with rococo ornament containing a drawer, on slender cabriole legs headed with mounts and terminating in scroll sabots
