The piriform vessel with a fluted body, with carinated shoulders and a long tapering neck, with three incised concentric rings along the neck, and flat rim-disk, on a flaring foot, the long strap handle with grooves at the rim, the spade-shaped handle terminal molded with a facing head of pan, with two long curving horns and curling locks of hair, a thumb-rest in the form of a leaf surmounted by a knob, the handle forking around the rim-disk in the form of stylized dog heads with long snouts
