Preserving a standing male figure wearing a tunic and pallium, with a purple band (augustus clavus), over the left shoulder, a designation worn by the upper ranks of Roman society, wearing low boots (calcei), with short hair and a closely-cropped beard, a garland above, inscribed for "VALERIVS NICOLA"
