Depicted galloping, the legs now bent acutely inward, with round flaring hoofs, the well-modelled body with a thick curving tail, wearing a bridle, the head turned slightly to the left, a cushioned saddle on his back, the edges round, the saddle blanket with a cross-hatched pattern, with a lozenge-shaped saddle bag on either side
