wearing elaborate robes decorated in hirazogan and takazogan with coiled dragons among clouds, insects and flower sprays, the details well defined, gilt eyes, supporting a cloisonne ovoid clock, on a lacquered wood rectangular stand decorated ho-o and foliage -- 13in (77.5cm) high, signed Miyao, 19th Century.
