A Chinese boxwood oblong octagonal box and cover
inlaid in jade, coral, lapis, stained ivory, turquoise and crystal with butterflies in flight above lotus and prunus branches issuing from rockwork within geometric and petal-form borders, the sides inset with turquoise glazed porcelain panels within similar borders, the interior lined in silk -- 12in (31.8in) wide, 19th Century, (two pieces of inlay missing).
