An unbacked patchwork coverlet pieced from plain and printed cottons and chintz, the centre with 25 stars each within a turkey red frame, bordered with similar stars and other cross based patterns--90 x 84in. (225 x 210cm.). probably 1880s with fabrics dating from the mid 19th century
