Original crushed and laminated morocco, dyed green, red and yellow in the grain, covers with gilt and onlaid green morocco leaf and vine outer border, central panel with multiple gilt fillet and purple morocco strapwork frame and gilt and onlaid white and red morocco roses with closed petals at outer corners and sides, 4 matching roseplants with petals open within the frame, surrounding purple morocco interwoven strapwork lozenge, spine and turn-ins similarly decorated, green morocco doublures, the upper doublure set with an oval portrait miniature of Evangeline within gilt frame, ivory watered silk liners; quarter tan morocco folding case.
