FOURTH FOLIO EDITION, first state of the imprint. The Fourth Folio was set from a copy of the enlarged issue (1664) of the Third Folio. A larger paper was used, which gave more lines to each page, giving an edition of 514 rather than 458 leaves. This, the first issue title-page lists three publishers, Herringman, Brewster and Bentley. The second issue title, printed on a cancel, lists only Herringman but also includes the names of two booksellers through whom the work would be distributed. Greg III:1119-20; Pforzheimer 910; Wing S-2915.
