bronze with dark brown patina
Height: 6.3/8 in. (16.2 cm.)
Original wax model executed in 1866-68; this bronze version cast 1919-1921 in an edition of 22, numbered A to T plus two casts reserved for the Degas heirs and the founder Hbrard

The Artist's family.
Acquired by the grandfather of the present owner in Paris.
