Oblong, the first decorated with foliate scrolls and rocaille enclosing a coat-of-arms, the interior with a portrait miniature of Frederick, Prince of Wales; the second with foliate scroll borders enclosing ruled panels, the interior with a portrait miniature of a young lady by Gervase Spencer, signed G.S. and dated 1759, the boxes apparently unmarked--3¼in.(8.3cm.) long (2)
