A Louis XV ormolu-mounted, amaranth, kingwood, fruitwood and marquetry commode
The later eared serpentine-fronted rectangular Breche d'Alep moulded top, above a heart-shaped cartouche flanked by shaped sides, framed by scrolling interlaced strapwork and rockwork clasps and inlaid with foliate scrolls with various flowers, the sides inlaid conformingly, the keeled angles headed by masks and terminating in foliate sabots, extensive losses and restorations
