Inlaid overall with shaped rectangular kingwood and tulipwood quarter veneered simulated panels, the moulded rectangular Breche d'Alep marble top above a waved drawer and a hinged fall-front, enclosing a fitted interior with three variously-sized open compartments, above two drawers, above an open compartment flanked to either side by two small drawers, above a gilt-tooled green writing-surface, above a pair of doors, enclosing a plain interior with a shelf, above a waved apron, flanked by canted angles terminating in pierced foliate sabots, bearing the stamp of P. Roussel, restorations, losses to the veneer
