Lot Essay

"An elegant young man in European clothes holding a flower. He is wearing a white sport jacket with a breast-pocket handkerchief, fountain pen, stripped tie and thick-rimmed glasses. Coud he be a member of the 'Fleur de Paris Club'? All the young people in the 1950's could sing the first few lines of the song: 'C'est une fleur de Paris - Du vieux Paris qui sourit - Car c'est la fleur du retour - Du retour des beaux jours.'"
