Oblong, with canted corners and enamelled geometric design, the interior containing two compartments and a mirror, the hinged cover now mounted with a jewelled pendant with scroll work and crescent motif and a carved bust of a Nubian in traditional headgear, apparently unmarked but inscribed on flange in Cyrillic with New Year's Day wishes for 1912--2¾in. (7.2cm.) long
