MAKER'S MARK OF P. OVCHINNIKOV WITH IMPERIAL WARRANT, MOSCOW, CIRCA 1890

Comprised of a ruby-red glass decanter with polychrome enamelled mounts and stopper, the gilt handle in the form of a two-headed dragon scroll, the shaped circular tray with polychrome enamel border and mounts for six cups also of ruby-glass and polychrome enamel gilt holders, the centerpiece of pierced polychrome enamel gilt depicting fabulous winged creatures, marked on reverse of tray and on decanter--11½in.
