painted and gilt with central scenes of dignitaries, ladies and attendants at leisure within borders of shaped panels of birds and insects amongst flowers, all on green gold scroll grounds -- 8in. (21.5cm.) diam; five saucers and two cups en suite -- the saucers 5in. (14cm.) diam; a pair of Cantonese plates with scenes of figures on terraces overlooking gardens and river landscapes, the borders with panels of butterflies and precious objects amongst flowers -- 7in. (19.6cm.) diam; a further plate with alternating panels of birds and figures -- 9in. (24.8cm.) diam; a lobed two-handled sugar bowl and cover -- 5in.
