Two Han painted pottery models of recumbent horses
facing forwards, painted in red, white, blue and black pigments with simulated trappings and foliate motifs -- 11in. (28cms) and 11in. (29cms) long, (some restoration and old wear), wood stands.

Thermoluminescence Test Numbers C298a53 and C298a54 are consistent with the dating of this lot. (2)
