with moulded mask handles, painted and gilt with panels of ladies and dignitaries at leisure on terraces and in fenced gardens, alternating with panels of ducks among lotus, birds n flowering gardens and butterflies among fruit and flower sprays -- 9in. (23cms) high, early 19th century; and a Cantonese square dish with shaped rim, decorated with gentleman seated in an interior within a border of dragons among scrolling flowers and foliage -- 8.7/8in. (22.5cms) wide, 19th century. (3)
