Cylindrical, on spreading base chased with foliage and scrolls, the body elaborately repousse and chased with foliate scroll medallions encircling applied Graces, with scroll leaf-clad handle and flying scroll thumbpiece, the hinged flat-domed cover chased with a band of similar foliate scrolls and set with a medal, marked on foot and cover--6 1/4in. (16cm.) high
