EARLY 18TH CENTURY, PROBABLY BRETON
Circular, on spreading foot with applied foliate scroll and bead handles, engraved on side with coat-of-arms, helm and crest within foliate scrolls, marked on side with warden's mark crowned ?M, an unidentified mark and maker's mark GG, fleur-de-lys, pellets and crown, and on foot with a slightly different version of the maker's mark with the fleur-de-lys replaced by a cross--length over handles 3 1/2in. (8.9cm.)
