Campana form, on circular spreading base chased with acanthus, rising to an ovolo and beaded flange, the body chased with acanthus, grapevines and scrolls, with everted ovolo and dart and beaded rim over a band of chased vine on a matted ground, the part-fluted and leaf-clad handles with bacchanalian mask joins, the collars with dentilated borders, the bases, collars and liners engraved with crest and motto, marked on bodies, collars and liners--9in. Lot Essay

The crest and motto are those of Hagart of Eastbury Manor, Surrey, late of Bantaskine, Stirlingshire, granted in 1814.
