signed on the horizontal circle Stanley London Patent No. 98137, the telescope with rack and pinion focusing, cross-wire adjusters and ray shade, with graduated bubble level, the axis supporting the 5inch vertical circle, with silvered scale, twin verniers and magnifiers, raised on twin supports with tangent-screw fine adjustment and clamp, the chamfered silvered horizontal circle with protective cover, twin verniers and magnifiers on swing arms, with bubble level, tangent-screw fine adjustment and clamp, raised on a tripod attachment with full adjustment and levelling screws, contained in the original mahogany carrying case -- 14in.
