unsigned, of Stockert pattern, the string gnomon adjustable between latitudes 38-56, the compass with blued-iron needle and brass cap, with printed and coloured dial plates, decorated with neo-classical swags, flowers and repeating motifs, the upper surface (some paper loss and surface abrasions) with a table of latitudes for European cities and towns -- 4in.
